Finding Things.  Access to everything starts at the Menu, shown at the top of all screens, including this one: HOME: takes you to the front (opening) page. It usually has news of the highest importance for bridge players. GAMES: takes you to a page with a schedule of all ACBL Sanctioned duplicate games in the Coachella Valley along with a list of phone numbers, addresses and maps.  There is also a link to a printable schedule. RESULTS: The results of all ACBL games in the Valley are available in this section.   To see complete game results, find the day, location and game in the Results Calendar, then click the blue name of the game , e.g. DBC Open <<< click on the blue letters. UNIT: This section has contact information for the Unit 533 Board, plus Minutes, Financials and the Bridge Mix. MEMBERS: This is the "people" part of the site: promotions, pictures, etc. . . . about Unit members. TOURNAMENTS: This section has news about upcoming local, sectional, regional and national tournaments, STaC weeks, NAOP and NAT contests, etc. BRIDGE LINKS:  is a page of external links of interest to Coachella Valley Bridge Players. LESSONS: This section provides information on bridge classes and contacts for Valley bridge teachers. OUR DIRECTORS: This section provides pictures and contact information for the directors offering games in the Coachella Valley. There are also individual links to the Clubs offering open games to players in the Coachella Valley. Hard to Read Screens. A problem you might have is interference with your ability to see the pages correctly because of your screen resolution. This site views best at 1024 x 768, which is what all flat panel screens use, and most other screens can use.  Older screens use 800 x 600 and really old ones use 640 x 480.  (Never mind what these numbers mean - - they are "pixels per inch") With these resolutions, everything is too big for the screen, and you have to scroll left and right, and the games results may appear all scrambled up.  If you can, set your screen resolution to 1024 x 768 or at least 800 x 600. Here's how (for Windows users): (1) Close all windows (2) Click the right mouse button in a blank area of your desktop (3) Select Properties (4) Select the Settings Tab at the top of the dialog (5) See Screen Area (or something similar) and you will see a slider that changes your screen resolution.  Select the highest and click Apply. Seeing the Entire Page. As people have different sizes of screen, web builders can't know what the viewer is seeing in every case.  If you are seeing only a portion of a screen, because, for example, a sentence ends abruptly, you can "scroll" left, right, up and down. If you see "scroll bars" at the bottom and right edges of a window, it means there is more to see in the horizontal or vertical dimensions.  Click and hold down the mouse pointer on a scroll bar and pull it up, down, left or right to see the entire contents of such pages.  Changing your screen resolution as described above will also help this situation. If you use Internet Explorer, press F11 (at the top of your keyboard) to maximize the page on the screen.  Press it again to get the Address bar back. Printing Game Results.  For easiest reading or printing of individual game results, click File - Print  or File - Print Preview near the top left of your browser screen.  If the entire page comes up, find a box at the top of your screen that lets you select "Selected Frame Only" - this will then print the information in the big frame, and not the masthead, etc. If this Help doesn't solve your problem, email the Unit 533 webmaster and describe your problem.
